Nuclear-armed India and Pakistan said Saturday they would press ahead with a dialogue to build ties shattered by the Mumbai carnage after talks in Islamabad ended in an acrimonious stalemate. The statements came after a visit by Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna to Islamabad ended Friday on a sour note over what his counterpart, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, said was India's "selective focus on terror". India successfully launched five satellites into orbit on Monday, three months after the country's space ambitions suffered a setback when a rocket crashed at lift-off. The five satellites included an advanced remote sensing satellite called Cartosat-2B, as well as a satellite from Algeria. Indian scientists the Army Institute of Technology said they developed a software program that improves landing precision of unmanned aerial vehicles without operator intervention. AIT said their MATrix LABoratory software program increases landing precision of UAVs by up to 97 percent without the need for an operator with a hand-held remote control.
