China and India have agreed to set up a hotline linking their top leaderships, an Indian official said Wednesday - in a fresh sign of closer ties between the Asian neighbours. The agreement was signed during a visit by Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna, who has met with both his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi and Premier Wen Jiabao.
