Short-term solution on Tibet unlikely, says Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama praised Tuesday Chinese citizens' increasing criticism of Beijing's policy on Tibet, but saw little chance for a short-term solution on the region. The United States and India said Monday they have reached an agreement on reprocessing nuclear material, clearing a major hurdle in putting into operation a landmark atomic energy pact.
