Russia Ready To Import Poultry From IndiaMoscow, Russia (RIA Novosti) Mar 29, 2010 Russia is ready to import poultry from India if the U.S. does not resume its supplies, Russian agriculture minister Yelena Skrynnik said on Friday after a meeting with her Indian counterpart. The U.S., which supplied 22% of poultry consumed in Russia last year, was unable to continue imports after January 1, when new sanitary requirements came into force in Russia.
