Tibetan nomad dies in self-immolation: rights group

A Tibetan man has died after setting himself on fire, a Western rights group said Wednesday, the latest in a string of self-immolations carried out in protest against Chinese rule. Kunchok Kyab, a 26-year-old nomad, set himself alight Tuesday at a Buddhist monastery in a Tibetan autonomous region of western China's Gansu province, London-based Free Tibet said in a statement.
