China to begin major quake reconstruction effortBeijing (AFP) July 8, 2010 China announced Thursday it will launch a raft of reconstruction projects in a quake-hit Tibetan region this weekend, nearly three months after the disaster that killed more than 2,700 people. Japan starts talks with India on nuclear power
Tokyo (AFP) June 28, 2010Japan began the first round of talks with India in Tokyo Monday on exporting nuclear power generation technology made by technology giants such as Toshiba and Hitachi, the foreign ministry said.
