Indian army considers truck scannersNew Delhi (UPI) May 7, 2010 The Indian army is looking to buy vehicle and cargo scanners to detect hidden arms, ammunition, explosives, contraband and counterfeit currency. The Indian Ministry of Defense has initiated a request for information from suppliers and manufacturers of the scanners that must be able to handle whole standard trucks and those loaded with containers.
