Kavre, Nepal (AFP) Dec 15, 2009

Abandoned US steel mill costly sign of changing times
Kokomo, Indiana (AFP) Dec 15, 2009
For most of the past century, the Continental Steel mill loomed over the town of Kokomo, Indiana -- first as a sign of prosperity, then as a stark reminder of the rust belt's decline and the massive costs of environmental cleanup. The missile was successfully fired from a ship in the Bay of Bengal, said S.P. Das, director of Integrated Test Range, a unit of India's Defence Research and Development Organisation.
