India Ramps Up Manned Spaceflight Talk Bangalore, India (PTI) Feb 10, 2009 
India plans to develop a space vehicle that can carry up to three astronauts in a seven-day manned mission to space, Indian Space Research Organization chairman G. Madhavan Nair said on Monday. "The concept is getting evolved," Nair said while addressing an international seminar. India is looking at developing a spacecraft for launch in 2015 using India's Geo-Synchronous Launch Vehicle.
